PCL-K110 - HO - SRC Baggage Car Kit

Baggage cars around the turn of the 20th century were the workhorses of passenger service, handling everything that didn’t ride in the coaches: passengers’ trunks, mail, express freight, and sometimes even small livestock. They were essential revenue generators, often earning more per mile than the coaches they ran with.
Railroads relied on them as flexible, secure, and rugged cars that could be placed at the head end of almost any passenger consist.

We modeled our version from a basic Boston and Maine design found at the Strasburg Rail Road and comes with the decals to represent that baggage car.  The kit also comes with grab irons and the wire necessary to form additional hardware needed for the exterior.

Kit comes less trucks and couplers.
