This is a Bachmann 63215 HO Scale Chicago and North Western Alco S4 with Sound & DCC #1078. Alco’s 1,000-HP S4 switcher was the fourth entry in the company’s highly successful “S” series of diesels. Their sturdy construction and ease of maintenance made them popular with a wide variety of railroads. This DCC sound-equipped S4 diesel includes our Sound Value SoundTraxx® diesel sound package with prototypical prime mover, 3 air horns, and bell—all in polyphonic 16-bit sound. Features include: DCC sound-equipped, operating dual directional headlights, die-cast chassis, die-cast fuel tanks and underframe, and E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers.
