Referred to as "skeleton" log cars because of their bare bones appearance and functionality, these cars are a staple of the logging industry. Their simple design allows for the transport of massive logs over rough terrain with minimal maintenance. Our skeleton log cars feature die-cast metal construction with accurate undercarriage brake detailing. The West Side Lumber Skeleton Log Car 3-Pack #2 and the Western Maryland Skeleton Log Car 3-Pack #2 are sequentially numbered to add-on to the existing 3-packs offered in Classic II 2001. The West Side Lumber and Western Maryland Skeleton Log Cars complement the Lionel Shay locomotives.
